One of our research projects looks at the performance of voice communication over wireless networks . We would be using OPNET to simulate different scenarios for wireless networks such as wireless LANs. We intend to use the simulation results to analyze the performance of voice communication in such networks.   

We are also interested in evaluating link adaptation and cross layer design issues to optimize the performance of WLANs for multimedia communications
