Esquisses
The clock is simultaneously real and virtual. It really tells the
time but is entirely simulated, digitally. This simulation, realized
with the ACROE's Cordis-Anima Software, takes into account the geometries
and the physics of materials and their interactions. Simulated gravity
moves the chain, which in turn makes the clock work with all its
cogs and wheels. The sound produced are not added: the hammers set
off by the clock strike vibrant surface which produce the sounds.
