Communication, or moving information around in time and space, is largely linked to the context within which it is labeled.

Passing sound around from one device to another has been made possible by our current digital technologies, which have been created by us.

Just as the ancient Egyptians used their technological skills to develop the architecture of the pyramids, so do we in the creation of binary data.

If there is a gap in communication, and histories are forgotten for even 1,000 years, the context of the original data will be lost, even if the physical objects still exist. '0''s and '1''s are not trivial patterns in nature.
