Presentation 1 |
Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is an accurate and non-invasive tool to explore beyond layers of dense matter, like concrete, soil, or sand and has successful applications in archeology. We strongly believe that GPR is an appropriate tool to explore, study and retrieve data from the ruins at the Guadalupe-Nipomos dunes. Additionally there are reports of GPR samples from the Guadalupe–Nipomo dunes showing its rich –in artifacts- underground. Representing an important aesthetic concept of media arts, the technology of the radar makes visible the invisible. This research is for the "New Dunites" Project. | info | |
