A Sign From Above

It is the nature if technology to become old and obsolete very quickly. With that in mind, it is appropriate to plan for the decomissioning of the satellites before they become old and start to malfunction or, more importantly, before the project has become trite and uninteresting. So if it has to end, it may as well go out with a bang, literally. So at some pre-specified time or on command, the entire constellation will de-orbit simultaneously around the entire globe. This will give the whole world an opportunity to witness a truly global piece of art, the ordered structure of the orbits leading to an eloquent pattern of the trails of the satellites as they burn up in the atmosphere.
