A programmer, writer, and effects artist, Pablo Colapinto has experimented with a variety of alternative visual processes. For his animations and work in online interactive GUIs, Pablo was awarded a 2005 PEW Fellowship in the Arts, and he has been a resident artist at the Atlantic Center for the Arts in Florida and the Experimental Television Center in New York. His 2D and 3D work has been seen at BAM, the New York Public Theatre, Lincoln Center, and the Japan Society. In Philadelphia he has shown video sculptures and installations at the Institute of Contemporary Art, the Fleisher-Ollman Gallery, and the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery. He has taught video editing and internet design at Temple University, University of the Arts, Moore College of Arts and Design, and Scribe Video Center. Pablo Colapinto received a Bachelors in Visual and Environmental Studies from Harvard University in 2000, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Media Arts and Technology at the University of California in Santa Barbara.
