Design Progress
With this project we iterated through different ideas and variations. However we
designed mainly 2 prototypes.
The first model had three layers (A,B,C), where level A contained a water
reservoir, level B contained all the electronic hardware such as sensors, speakers and
circuits, and the top level C contained the soil and the plant.
However in the new design, we changed it in a two levels configuration (only
level A and level C) and we embedded the circuit board in the cavity made in the depth
of the vase to avoid that when the user gives water to the plant, level B could be
damaged. So for the final design, we have only two levels on the top of the base.

It is also worth to mention that for the initial design of forget.me.not, we considered giving the chance
to the user to create his/her own custom shapes for the pot, but we changed mind because we
decided that our project would target masses and a custom pot would be too expansive to be produced.
